Successful Attempts
Levi’s Loop was created to be a true once-in-a-lifetime challenge — an experience that demands complete commitment from everyone involved.
To complete the loop, riders must link together all 17 ambulance stations in Cumbria, four iconic climbs, remote mountain roads and long overnight sections, before returning to Cockermouth within 24 hours. Every attempt is different, and no two riders will experience the challenge in exactly the same way.
The first completion showed that Levi’s Loop could become something much bigger than a solo ride. Throughout the attempt, riders joined for different sections of the route, helping carry the challenge through the day, night and final hours back into Cockermouth. What began as an individual challenge became a shared effort built around encouragement, pacing, support and determination. As the ride progressed, everyone involved — riders, supporters, friends and family — ultimately shared the same goal: getting the rider back to Cockermouth within 24 hours.
The list below records the officially verified completions of Levi’s Loop.
At the moment, there is only one.

First Completion of Levi’s Loop
14th June 2025
Approximate Distance: 470km
Elevation Gain: 7,500m+
Completion Time: 21 Hours 45 Minutes
Attempt Type: Solo Supported

The original completion of Levi’s Loop raised £8,247 for Team Evie and The Ambulance Staff Charity (TASC), exceeding the original fundraising target of £5,000.
Completed across some of the hardest roads in the UK, the first successful attempt established the foundations of the challenge and proved that the loop could be completed within the 24-hour limit.
Special thanks to Derwent Valley Cycling Club for their incredible support throughout the challenge, with riders joining for sections across the route and helping carry the ride through the final hours back into Cockermouth.
Future Attempts
Levi’s Loop is still in the early stages of its story.
Every successful completion will become part of the history of the challenge — each with its own route, strategy, support crew, conditions and experience.
Some riders may chase the fastest known time. Others may simply want to reach the finish before the clock runs out. For many, just standing back in Cockermouth within 24 hours will be enough.
Either way, earning a place on this page should feel significant.
