An ultra-endurance cycling challenge through Cumbria, linking every ambulance station within 24 hours.
Created in memory of Levi.
Built from grief.
Ridden with purpose.
The Challenge
Levi’s Loop is an approximately 470km ultra-endurance cycling challenge through Cumbria. Starting and finishing in Cockermouth, riders must visit all 17 ambulance stations in the county, summit Hardknott Pass, The Struggle, Great Dun Fell and Newlands Pass, ride beneath the slopes of Rannerdale Knots, and return to Cockermouth — all within 24 hours.
Inspired by the spirit of the Bob Graham Round, Levi’s Loop is not a fixed route or organised race. Riders are free to choose their own line between mandatory checkpoints, their own start time, and their own strategy for completing the challenge.
Levi’s Loop can be attempted solo and unsupported, solo with support, or as a relay team. Drafting other riders is permitted, however motor pacing is not.
Created in memory of Levi, the challenge was designed to become something bigger than a single ride — an experience built around endurance, resilience, support and shared purpose across some of the hardest roads in the UK.
